Custom Skinning is fun and makes your neighborhood all the more yours. If you like what you made and what to share it with the world, then just keep this in mind:

Try to make it all yourself. Don't "borrow" things someone else has made without asking.

When you skin enough, and put alot of time into this, it just really chaps your @ss when you find someone else posting all your blood, sweat and tears as their own. Sites have closed because of this because it sucks, and no one shouldn't have to deal with it. If it's not yours, then IT'S NOT YOURS, plain and simple.

But this is not to say that you can't ask permission from the creator to use their stuff, be it a body or a head mesh, or maybe a texture they made. If you ask permission, you'll most likely get it. Just include them in the credits, and ask them how they would like to be aknowledged. It's not a big deal untill someone gets ripped off and burned, and most likely, someone WILL recognize the ripped off work and rat you out.

I am not adverse to you e-mailing me questions, but if you do, please don't ask me about something that I wrote about in this tutorial unless you didn't understand it. If you ask me something that I covered in here I will just tell you to read the tutorial. Most of the time, it's something you can figure out on your own. Just take your time and think about it. If the answer doesn't come, then by all means, ask.
